Visceral Lines
Photography / Installation / Performance
by Sarah Hartwig

"Visceral Lines" is a series of b/w photographs which clearly has arisen from a performative approach and equally associative and conceptual method. Moreover the work contains a sophisticated installation concept, which interrelates the photographs by the use of space and distance.

The lines were painted on the skin in a specific way to open up new spheres and stories. Rather than approaching the element line in a cold and distant manner, I favored a tactile and quite personal practice.
